BUG: The colon vs the semilicon

The problem still exists in the first beta patch, and the changelog of the second patch doesn't mention this problem.

Epic, please fix this issue. It's too trivial not to fix.

Yeah I find this very annoying, personally. It also doesn't help to convey a genuine smile or a sarcastic one in chat.

Thank you. I could swear I saw a semicolon after the player name when I said something. I thought it was just the style of the font. Other font stuff exists in the game which I find unpleasent. For instance, the number font used for score looks good, except for the 6 and the 9. Those number look messed up the most. Turns out I lost some matches 46 to 50, and I thought it said 48 to 50.

Now that could be a big problem during competitive\ladder play....

Because the semicolon is used in .ini files to show the game to ignore whatever follows, so you can leave something in as a temporary thing without having it affect the game.

Well in chat it ignores the ; in terms of ignoring whatever follows.

Regarding the 6 looking like an 8? That's a big annoyance and I've also brought that up before the retail game came out.

Next time someone posts an image like that just remove the ".th" in the link to see the entire image at full size.

There´s a temporary workaround for that, if you got the nerves to try out. It works for me.
