    Old Shock Rifle?

Well, I was wondering if we could get the old UT2k3 shock rifle back as an option to use the older model, or the new one, like in 2k4. I love the old shock rifle with the sexy twirly thing it had going around the beam.

    What do you guys think?

The current one looks like some sort of scientific glass holder or something, it just looks plain strange, it has too much recoil and the beam is wider than the trunk of a 200 year old tree, and as bright as the sun. I mean if it would burn a nice hole through the whole level then I'd understand. It'd still be nice to have that extra option though... Or atleast change the beam.

The UT2004's Shock Rifle is the most ugly of the serie. It looks like a exhaust pipe of a car rather than a rifle. And the beam is so thin and copied from Quake's railgun.

        UT3's version is really nice.

I like the design of the UT3 one. It reminds me of the original UT shock rifle.

the best one is UT's, but UT3's is tons better than 2k4 and 2k3's...

I liked the first Unreals myself. The asmd. Be nice if there was a mod to bring back weapons of old with newer graphics. Eight ball gesbio the sniper asmd, auto mag and the likes [from unreal 1]

Edit: Oh and replace the damage amp with the energy amplifier from unreal 1 as well. [It only effected Dispersion and asmd]

The UT3 beam also feels like it leaves a bit of residue, like the beam is a bit more savage you know?

I like the distortion left behind by the shock combo. Makes it look like it's warping the fabric of space-time.
