Question about mIRC, and competitive playing.

I'm a recent transfer from the Counter-strike era, I played alot of CS and played in CAL. after playing UT3, I have the unreal bug and I want to get into this game competitively, where do i go about finding clans that play? I am guessing mIRC, but can't find a solid server that hosts UT channels. Anyone able to give me a hand on where to look?

Honestly, why is there a need for this? Do you want to be able to increase the player base or have empty servers? If we want the game to grow, we all need to welcome in new players not bash them.

Quakenet is the server for Europe IRC, pickup games in allot of channels, clan channels, reports from Clanbase matchess etc etc, IRC is a great medium for finding games/friends.
