Warfare: Manta nodes on Dusk

The Manta nodes on Dusk have upper platforms in the building closest to the node that have weapons, ammo and a turret on rails. There are spawn points up there but I don't see a way up there otherwise. No elevator or jump pads that I can find. Anyone else find a way to get up there besides a vehicle or being spawned up there?

And what is that blue cross shaped thing inside the building?

I guess you could take a Manta or the Cicada and jump onto the rail.

Downtown also has a spot you can't get to unless you spawn there; the window above the center node. You can also take the jump boots into building in the center of the map and run through the empty hallways doing nothing useful.
