Question about the beta patch

But I want to know, if you instaled the patch, can you still join servers runnnig on 1.00 version without any compatibity issues? I'm to scared to instal the **** thing.

no, as any other patches it manipulates in-game variables.

Why are there still places online that you can download the patch from if Epic really doesn't want us to have it. I too have the patch and I won't post a link but anyone that knows how to use Google can find it. I don't understand that myself ... frankly people always seem to forget that this is a Beta patch and act surprised when they have an issue with the game. Surprise ... it's a BETA patch for a reason. Anyway I am looking forward to the release of the production patch ... hopefully it will take care of some of the bugs that the Beta patch caused, mainly problems with displaying the Warfare maps properly (screen flickers and objects appear incomplete or translucent). People on other forums are already complaining about the patch and it isn't released yet ... talk about being silly.

u can join all servers after u patch, and i havent heared any1 yet with problems after they patched, so i kinda recommend to beta patch ur game since there are no known problems caused by the patch, but it does fixe some stuff
