It really means underline because its underneath the unreal tournament which is a mind trick which makes you buy it.

I believe he means when the icon appears in the Score table at the end of a match. IIRC, it marks the 'Man of the Match', which might be the highest scorer, or the person who completed the most objectives (I can't remember exactly).

well there are a few men of the match then... Sometimes it appears for two or more people.

The U symbol represents the players that have clicked in case you have enabled the Tourney Mode on the server. That way you know who still has to click in order for the game to begin.

I don't know if it only means players who are ready because you get it when the match ends before the next map even loads.

I think it indicated if you're playing or inverse.

When you get shot, your head is laying on the ground, until you press the Fire button, then you're getting respawned. The moment where your head is laying on the ground, is the moment where you in this state.

But I'm not sure. ^^
