Armless player model?

Ok so I recently played an UT match, and I had this opponent ( Won't reveal name ) who had a player model without arms. That also automatically meant that I was unable to see what weapon he was carrying as he simply didnt have any arms attached to his body, which are supposed to carry the gun.

He happened to have won the match so I got a clear screenshot.

So I'm wondering, is there a corrupt file on my client or did he actually modded the model himself to remove the arms? Whichever one it is, it got him a clear advantage over others as we couldnt see the weapon he was carrying + his model got A LOT smaller without those arms.

I like how you named the file name "hacker". Real clever when it's most likely your own technical issues which, incidentally, you should ask about in the Tech forum.

I want to make sure it's a technical issue (on my side) first, before going there.

I thought I remember something about the beta patch fixing an issue with not displaying custom character peices correctly, perhaps this is that bug?

Did you play another round with him? Did you ask anyone else if they saw the same thing? Did you make a comment like the he has no arms! Did anyone respond?

More likely a bug then hack.

I never stated it was a hack, the screenshot name has no meaning really
Anyway I asked around if anyone else saw him without arms but I didn't get any replies ( I guess they were too busy evading bullets or something :\)

I did play another round with him but he went for a default char after I told him about the arm issue.

Something similar happened but it was when I died. The arms (or blade kind of things on the Necris) were stuck in the ground not attached to the rest of it's body. I have a screenshot I'll upload a bit later.

I don't see the advantage of having no arms... unless you wanna be homestarrunner or something.

i think he tried to set the weapon to center view, or he want get kills, if he get close to you, and hit you with his feets^^
