The CTF maps are the best in the game so far.

It's similar to one map in UT - very similar. I'll have to check, brb.

edit: ah **** I can't remember. But it's pretty similar in basic construction to a third party UT CTF map that was also remade for UT2. It's not a direct copy, only thematically similar. Very good map design, however.

The CTF maps are very nice indeed (not talking bout the vctf ones here), I find the remakes of hydro and coret very impressive but the new ones are very nicely done aswell

It is a copy of a map that was released with a pack that also contained the skaarj player model. The original had deemers on each side of the bridge and more sniper rifles. There are 2 more ctf maps that were on that pack, released by Epic or Digital Extremes or someone else that helped with the original ideas of Unreal, that are remakes in UT3. That kinda dissapoints me, hope they aren't just rehashing old ideas, though I would like to see ctf-face and lavagiant.

CTF-Hydro16 is a remake included in ut3 as is CTF -Coret, but I can't remember the map that was Omicron, oh well.

My only complaint about DM maps would be that in general they tend to bee too small. They end up in a spamfest on public servers with playercount anything more than 8-10, and every idiot is running their server with maxplayers 16-24.

F*CK YEAH! Wtf is wrong with 90% of the admins. Looks like they never played a single time at UT and just host a server cause people are paying them to do so. I just can't believe that almost no one in 2007, is aware that a DM with over 6 people = total bs spam. I really hate overpopulated servers... even players are stupid. How can they have fun with such crowded servers?!? There should be a very huge pop up in the middle of the screen when you attempt to host a game with more than the recommanded value. That way, maybe we could have a little less lame servers of 16 players.

I played 1 CTF map for now, very fun but it's a shame that there is only 1 Duel map for now (Sentinel). Don't even count Bioharzard please (-_-).

I want to say Lucius, but that was the map with the lowgrav in the middle. This is not that map. What I am thinking has spawn points in the back of each base, with minigun turrets protecting you from people trying to spawn rape you back there (at least to some extent).

Surely someone can help me remember that one! Argh I did numerous clanmatches on it and I can't remember it.
