Is there a map editor? Where?

Hi, I can't find a map editor file, or I don't know where to look. I'm a computer newbie! I just wanna add necris vehicles on one side of the map in Suspense.

Also what is u3redist.exe? I tried installing that but it just faded out and didn't do anything. Now it's in my uninstall pannel.

Is it not in your start menu under Unreal Tournament 3->Unreal Tournament Editor?

EDIT: If not I think you can just make a shortcut to your \Binaries\UT3.exe file with ' editor' after it

Oh, thanks! I get lost in my start menu so I never use it

        I got it.

I copied the Suspence map (but none of its language files) into the My Documents Unreal custom map folder.

But this thing looks ways complicated! Is there a magic button to delete and add vehicles? It's all I wanna do

Will I have to set their AI based on the map or will it just work?

This is some really complicated stuff! I think I'll wait until someone else does it

You can always just spawn the vehicles you want.

And UnrealEd is probably one of the easier editors out there to use.

No, Virtus Deathmatch Maker for Q and Q2 was a bit easier.. But ye, after QRadiant and all those leaks UED is one pleasure to work with!

Hmmm... not if you're used to the Tony Hawks 1 style map maker....
(but yes, I do agree with you, its all just relative).

If you have the CE (collectors edition) there should be some vtms (video tutorial modules i think thats what it stands for) on the bonus disk that will introduce you to UnrealEd. If you don't have it I suggest you make friends with someone who does if yuo want to get into map making/editing, since its quite a big world out there.
