    Really bad audio bug

    Clevo Rebrand D900t
    Winxp sp2
    2gb Ram
    3.4 ghz p4
7800 gtx go [using extream g laptop video drivers]
    Realtek HD audio
All drivers as up to date as they can be.

The game runs ok the video performance is a little lower than the demo though.

But biggest gripe is the audio. Im getting alot of problems here. The suround sound sounds back to front most of the time. Also sound events that happen far away sound realy close up [louder than the events that are close]
Also audio in the cutscenes is totaly messed up with ambient audio deffeningly loud and voice bearly hearable.
BTW using openAL gonna turn that off.
    Anyone else having this trouble?

Buy a real soundcard, wich supports OpenAL. Starts with Audigy (not the audio Version)/ Nforce Soundstorm and ends up @ X-FI (Not the Audio-Series). With my fatality pro there is great sound and a huge performance increase over such crappie, nonintelligent audiocodecs like yours. Even a C64 is technically a monster against Realtec codecs. This is not a joke btw.

Nice, but i suggest you to get a X-Fi extreme- gamer card from creative to get more speed and audio quality in games. There is still a X-fi for laptops out there, but only an Audio version, wich is software based.

check voice supression isn't on in the realtek control panel, this make a similar effect.

Ill check when i get round ot it thanks for mentioning tha Athlonix [Ive installed the new drivers but not restarted yet.. Got work to do first ]
And as far as sound cards go. Im getting a new pc around new years. I was thinking one of the Xfi wanted to avoid fatality... i hate how they took the guys name and smacked a 50 quid surcharge for the gesture...

And if you ask me im not a fan of professional gamers

Yeah, Fatality sucks... But the card is great, if your system doesnt suffer from bgus with the X-Fi.
