I this what i should expect with a Gaming mouse

I plan on getting a good gaming mouse. Is this what i should expect on High DPI? Or does this guy have rubber wrist or is his mouse sensibility set a tad bit too high?

If you turn the DPI up on the mouse, you should turn the overall sensitivity down in the game. This provides a "smoother" movement with more fine adjustment possible.

Unfortunately UT3 doesn't let you turn down the sensitivity very much so I've got it set at 2, with my Logitech G7 set on the medium setting. I'd like it at something like .5 with my G7 turned on high.

lol, I've just been watching/waiting for that vid to load and thinking the same thing.

His hand seems to spontaneously develop parkinsons when he is following an enemy around with the mouse (~12 seconds in)

The jerkiness of that video makes me think its author has a very LOW DPI mouse with the sensitivity cranked way the heck up. It jumps around like crazy. No smoothness at all.

Way too high sensitivity...and thats coming from someone who likes it high! A gaming mouse lets you have whatever you want. High dpi isn't the sole value for sensitivity but if you also have it high ingame, then yeah..you'll see that video.

              Get a G5 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi...s/359&cl=gb,en.

I have one and ive never had any problems with it.

I have a Qck steel pad pro for a mat aswell.

              It practically floats.

My sensitivity is set at 1250 which is my perfect sensitivity.

I have a Logitech G5 aswell the mouse weights are a bit much but its a amazing mouse. It is missing mouse 5 but mouse 4 works for what i need it for. being able to change sensitivity on the fly on the mouse is nice. super low for sniping medium for dm. High is never really good.

How do laser mice fit in with these DPI scalings?
