Go to the website and login no problem - reset my pass via email and re-login the website no problem, but can't login through the game.

You're obviously doing it wrong, login with the name associated with the profile and the password of it, don't log in with the account email, also try doing making an account from the ingame UI, usually helps.

Where do you find the name associated with the profile? I use Emig5m and no other name - the gamespyid website says my username is Emig5m (created the account years ago). What other name would I use besides the one I always use and where to find the mythical name I'm supposed to use?

I've seen quite a few try to use their Email to login, try making a new profile from the ingame UI, might be an issue with your current one.

Thanks, creating a new profile in the game fixed it (I was trying to just login). When you're in a big hurry, you make mistakes, heh.
