Has the UI been improved?

The demo feedback section has it's own, stickied thread about the UI, which is FULL of posts about how bad (well, sorry, it IS bad) the UI is in the demo.

Now the final game is out, I've seen some screenshots, and it looks quite similar.

Has it been improved?
