NO Anthology with preorder at Gamestop, did I get screwed?

So I picked up my Collectors Edition at Gamestop just now and when I asked about the Athology the manager told me that it didn't come with one, just the character card. I told him the Gamestop website mentions and Anthology that includes older Unreal games. He looked at the back of the box and said "Oh that's just the making of all the Unreal games, included on the bonus disc." I knew he was wrong. I told him that didn't exactly define the word "Anthology" and that the website says different.

The bonus disc does not include the Anthology. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. If they didn't have it, they didn't have it, but maybe another Gamestop in my area does. My question is, did you get the Anthology from Gamestop?

By the way, I received some negative comments when I asked if we'd get the bonus content upon pickup or peorder. I asked because I know Gamestop doesn't always deliver when it comes to bonus content. So to the people who gave me a negative response, here you go. I didn't get the Anthology at the time of preorder OR pickup.

Tommorow i'm going and i'm sure the issue will be resolved. Just head back to the store tommorow with your receipt. It seems their system is not registering it yet.

That's interesting. They were still unboxing games when I got there, so maybe they hadn't unboxed the Anthology yet. I was thinking about that on the way home. I'll probably go in later tonight or tomorrow to see what the deal is.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I wasn't getting mad with them at all, I'm not like that. I'll give that number a call if the store can't resolve it. Pfff Mass Effect has nothing on UT, and I have played it. Completely different games, but still, lol.

:S This is a little worrying, I pre ordered from Gamestop online just for Anthology but im in England. If things mess up I cant just go to the store and get it sorted out :X

I thought the same thign was gonna happen to me, thats why i printed out the web page and highlighted where it says if its not oline, you get it when u purchase the game. The manger said he didn;t hear nething about it at all but, he gave it to me sinc ei had the paper and it clearly promised it.

I didn't pre-order and they gave me Anthology at the store. The guy ringing me up even double-checked with the other employee, showed him some paper that apparently explained it, and after talking about why it wasn't ringing up properly they gave it to me.

I didn't care either way because I own all those games already. Sounds like you got rooked, though. Or my GameStop employees aren't too bright, which is quite plausible.

I just came back from gamestop and when he handed me just UT3 which I pre ordered, I asked him for Anthology and he said he forgot about it and gave me one. Had to sign another receipt with 19.99 on it thought.

You mean you had to pay $19.99 to get Anthology? that sounds like it wasn't included but he thought you wanted to buy it also.
