Curious as to if any wal mart or store any store that is open so early in the morning has managed to get the almighty ut3 pc game

also just a side question is the collectors edition to be released same day?

I Preordered the Special Edition on Amazon, but wont be here until the 21'st, meaning i'll be crying for another 2 days.

Although the countdown (via www.beyondunreal.com) says 5 hours to go, the guy I did my preorder with said it wouldn't be there til tuesday.

Mark Rein said in a recent interview though that UT3 was shipping on the 16th in the U.S.

I just got off work and am heading to bed but after I wake up I'm heading to Gamestop where I have my CE pre-ordered...hopefully it's there today. If not today I've heard others who ordered through Gamestop that the stores said it would be available on Tuesday.

I stopped by WalMart just before 8am EST in Gainesville, FL and they didn't have it. The clerk looked it up (although he was like "Real what...?") and said that they should have it in a few days. I'll be calling the other electronics stores as soon as they open.

Mark Rein pointed the 16th out in a video interview...really wish I still had the link. From what I gather though, the way retail chains work is the product gets sent to a distribution facility from the manufacturer....then gets distributed to all the satellite stores.

So basically what I'm getting at, is most likely you will get your UT goodness on Tuesday and not today...most likely.

My friend's mom, who's Electronics lead at our local Walmart informed me that this game would be on the shipment that comes in around 2 o'clock. Everyone is needed at a different place in the store this week. If they get get Thanksgiving necessities done first, (re-stocking stuffing, since everyone buys at least 2 boxes, each), she'll decide when they'll unpack the shipment for electronics. She said try around 8 o'clock.

Thanksgiving week releases are never top prioirty.

What is going on? I just checked the status of my preorder at Amazon.com and just watched the delivery status change from shipping today to shipping on the 23rd. I won't get it until Monday.
