Got the game: My short review.

It needs a patch for the obvious things that have been mentioned before (also by me).

Apart from that: simply great. I am saying that as a long year UT99 and Ut2004 player.

Great stuff. Much better than I thought.

I give it a 93%. (Will be better after a patch)

Oh, And I did NOT include the German dubbing into my rating (Having the same voice as Chef/Chefkoch from Southpark for Othello is great)

Great Gameplay, Great Graphics, Great Maps, Music is OK (don't like the mood dependant music). GUI, some missing functions and Vehicles need patching.

I felt to make this thread, because I was very sceptical in the end and got suprised how great it is.

Can you tell if you can connect to a server using DOS command line as in UT2K4?

Stop hyping it fueg ****, I'm soo tempted to order it from amazon.de, and then replace the German language files with the ones from the demo. The announcer packages, erm... well, ... *cough*

Did you notice any differences between the demo and the real version concerning the vehicles, as I think that to be one of the major things that was bad in the demo? Is the manta a tad slower for example..

Imo the vehicles wasn't bad, just different. Different != bad. There was some minor flaws, stiff handling, locked behind view (that is fixed in full game btw) etc. I think performance, it looks like a blurry 2k4 but with 10% fps, and ui/browser was the bad stuff.
