Quick question before i spend £180

Right, UT is my fav pc game, so i want to be able to play it with fairly decent graphics settings. Im just wondering if buying a 8800 GT will be worth it for my particular system. Im currently getting fps between 20 and 45 on the demo @ 800 x 600 (im used to getting 60fps @ 1680x1050 @ max settings in ut04).

Anyway heres my system:

AMD 4200+ @ 2 x 2.3GHz
2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM
ATI X1600 pro 512mb

So will i see a decent graphics increase if i buy the 8800GT?
