    does ut3 have this?

    http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7248/73315257ak3.jpg

See, in the picture? im pushing a chair with my character model? is there an physics based objects in the full game like this? I think it would add to the gameplay because in doom3 it's cool because you can make like little huts out of junk laying around or block doorways with objects or use them as cover.

This picture explains what im talking about and how physics can effect gameplay i pushed the chair and the table in the middle of this doorway in the multiplayer map if someone wanted to get through they have to jump over it messing them up kinda or blast the stuff out of the way lol. eithway it effected the way the gameplay would of been if i couldnt put it there.

i was expecting ut3 to have physics because it's next gen man, plus unreal was one of the first with water type physics or smoke or ragdolls.

Haven't seen it yet so i think there are no objects like that chair in the game that you can affect with your character.

That is up to the level Designer. I dont think there is any Orginal maps with physics. but there is no Problem for a Level designer to put physics. take a look on this http://youtube.com/watch?v=aAM5Q_zfShQ

That's ran using a 200$ physics processing card ageia ppu, im talking about cpu excelerated physics like half life 2 havok or doom3 john carmacks own physics engine, i dont believe the game has physics from demo without the ageia ****, that kinda sucks because foreal unreal one of first games ever with ragdolls i just expected them to impliment some type of physic into this unreal, without it kinda feels same as ut2k4.

You dont need the Ageia Card to use physics but it will work better with a Ageia card

also take a look at this online glass physics

                http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7140/67441528ab1.jpg

shoot out it out piece by piece individual pieces.

im not trying to bash ut3 im 100% buying it when it comes out in us, but i just had higher expectations after playing older games with glass physics+object i expected the same, especially when on unreal tournament 2003 epicgames even went so much into detail if you shoot a rocket through a smoke cloud the rocket passing through the smoke will make it billow away.

Haha. Those are some high standards, but THB, in UT3, or any UT for that matter, I think game play comes first. I recently have been able to run this game at an eye-candy-level of detail, but it's not like i get time to stop and smell the roses. You get mowed down that way.

Unreal needs more chairs, I think. Where else are we expected to camp the raptors? Ooh! Maybe a sofa!

dude, that's on ut2k3 or ut2k4 same game, shoot a rocket into a vent blowing out smoke and the rocket will make the smoke billow away seriously, that's why i expected some physics to be part of the gameplay, if they went into that much detail with ut2k3 why not ut3?

on the beta map heatray there's a few barrels sitting in the corners of the map but you cant move them, that would be cool if it was similar to doom3 how you can push explosive barrels around .

if i was designing the gameplay for ut3 it would of been alot better and the multiplayer maps they need to hire me to design the game, .

Ever heard of the edit button.........

Anyway, there was a rock arch, that could be blown up in a very oooold UT3 video and then theres the ageia video, both made by the UT3 editor I guess, but im not sure about the official maps that were included with the game.
