Dead Jump

Hahah, I've been playing with the feing death I Found out that there are places which you can't normaly reach double jumping but that can be reached using double jump + Feing death.

I made a small video to prove the theory, fraps refused to record the audio (the voice over for the text that became invisible when I uploaded) but you can get the Idea.

Why do that when u can just double jump + dodge off the wall to reach the same destination without having to sacrafise yourself in a vulnerable position such as feign death?

Could be a useful tactic, but only when you know for sure that there's nobody else around, or you're gonna die, leaving yourself in such a vulnerable position for so long.

just to show that you can "go higher" by exploiting the ragdoll physics. There are probably other uses for it

Thats interesting I guess but if you do that around me while in a match, I'm going to laugh for a moment and then shoot you in the face with a rocket. :]

You can always use a impact hammer jump as substitute.


Of course, this method would leave you less vulnerable to being shot while lying on the ground.

It'd be funny to see groups of people doing that kinda thing all over the map..

And actually i thinking NOT ONLY about jumping high(You could use RJ) but to reach some locations like dive through window or something. If only players could stand up a little faster...

Okey that is good to know, for the makers of trial maps. But won't pressing crouch get you there aswell in this situation?
