gears is awesome and is on pc this november and yeah it wouldnt be as good but licensing issues for homebrew game?? i think ya need to read up on laws as long as your not making money from it its legal enough especially how Epic created GOW and UT3. Yeah though i'm mostly thinking skins myself would be cool if done right.

since mods and maps will be coming to ps3 you really think somebody will try to duplicate a gears of war mod for ps3? it's possible Mark Rein even said in an interview the editors that dman powerful not to mention Gears was built on this mod. I think we are at least gona see gears characters in a mod would be cool to see a gears mod though just a thought don't flame me

dont want to flame but: ive never understood the point of TC for whole games:

1 copyright issues
2 they always end out half *****, why do you think major studios spend years making a game if some randoms can replicate something even remotely close within a reasonable time frame?
3 its just not worth it, why not play the original?

having said that i wouldnt be suprised if some skins were carried over.

iv never tried Gears, i thought it was only on 360 and not on PC...

if its good, i will personally make a mod for it
