Did anyone elses Demo ini's change?

    Alright everyone.

I was wondering if anyone elses UT3 Demo came up with a message that some of their .ini (e.g. system.ini) had changed about 2 days ago.

I talked to some other people (at random on a server) and they said theirs had changed aswel.

Anyone know why this was, was it "patched/upgraded" or something?

Mines were out of date as well. I updated all and had to change all video settings again. I don't think there were any big changes in the .ini files.

You get those messages because you're editing the wrong .ini's. You need to edit the .ini files in the My Documents\My Games directory to avoid those messages.

has somethink to do with clock-change of your operating system from summer-time to winter-time i think.

Did the fall back savings time happen somewhere else on earth? My computer isn't scheduled to fall back an hour till this next sunday at 2am =O

                In any case....
Ok well I was overclocking my cpu recently to see how far it could go, and after going a little to far I had to reset my cmos. After getting it to boot again to a safe speed I tried to run ut3 to check it out, but ut3 wanted me to update my ini files. The first time I said ok to all and got screwed by not being able to play ut3 demo. Then I reinstall the demo, and again it asks me to update my ini files... I say no way in @##$@ 'NO' to all, however again the game refuses to run =/ I then check windows update to see if I can get any updates that might help.... Windows update tells me to GTFO and tosses me some cryptic error, which for whatever reason they can't just tell me whats wrong instead they point me to an error list. Ok so I find my error in the error list, and it tells me to update my time settings to the current time. Simple enough right?? So I right click on my timer and see the time is way out of date. Apparently resetting the cmos resets the time >.> I click on the internet time to synchronize my clock with the clocks on the net, yet EVERY server refuses to update my time... I'm thinking its my overclock, so I back down to stock specs yet I still get the same results =/ Then I'm thinking virus and do a full virus check... nothing =/ Now I manually reset my time with my cell phone... wtf now windows update works, NOW I can synchronize my time with the internet, and finally UT3 quits being a mean and finally starts without asking me to update my ini files o.0

Long story short OEM windows vista premium==FTL???? Maybe not, but the bugs are sometimes very annoying. Another annoying bug is that while playing the old version of half life using steam I see vista occasionally trying to draw the gadget bar on the right side of the screen >.> Half life original is old so I can forgive vista for bugging out on that game, and luckily I haven't seen this bug in half life 2 or ut3 demo.
