    50|Calibre Tourney videos!

    I saw one of these videos posted in another thread, so I went over to their website and lo and behold they have several more on the site, highlighting matches in that tourney.

    This is a first time event, so the announcer is new to the demo, so he's not on top of his game. But you can tell he has a foundation of knowledge of the series and the gameplay mechanics but was surprised by some of the HUD bugs.

    Anyhow, I'm watching streaming vids there right now. Pretty interesting. And I'm glad to see a site take the lead and providing this type of coverage.

      A practice tournament in a beta of a demo on maps that isn't made for 1on1 and with missing settings, and still it looks as promising as this. GG Epic. Once we have proper 1on1 maps and the game is finished UT3 will kick butt!

        this is a definite good sign! now hopefully Epic will followup with the fixxs and let us know what the release date looks like if we can expect another demo or what...

        nice job on the practice tourney guys!

          If anyone has any experience with video editing/divx let me know. I have 4 Fraps demos I've been working a few hours on. They look fine when I render them on my machine, but I uploaded one to Stage6 and as you can see the audio quality is messed up. I recorded in Fraps @ 35 FPS, and setup my movie inb Vegas @ 35 FPS so it should be okay....and it is okay on my machine, but after I upload to Stage 6 the audio is distorted: http://stage6.divx.com/user/pastapuc...:-Beeo-vs--egg

            Go Rythem!

            The audio is out of sync with the video on the Rythem vs Mik3D. (the game sounds at least)

            Also I would use flash - FLV format instead of DivX.

            Other than that - great job guys! This is probably the first UT3 tournament

              I actually like Divx as I can download them onto my desktop and move those videos accordingly. I have to hack out the FLV files and there's not a good standalone FLV player, really. Divx Player is great for playing Divx movies.

                VLC handles almost anything, but yes DivX/Xvid is my personal fav also.
