My progress so far(with a quick 3 hour break for Portals!):

I'm staying with the 2.8 ghz overclock. That seems to have added about 10-15 fps onto it. I seem to have a wider range of fps now, it used to be 45-85 after changing the ini file to remove the cap, and now with the cpu overclock it's 45-100. I still seem to go low in a heated fight, but I go higher when Idle in the game. I was hoping to bring up the low end, not extend the high end ;/

I tried using N-tune to overclock the gpu, but I went to 575/900 and somehow I lost fps. Do the gpu and memory for the Graphics card have to be a certain ratio? Or, do you just up them to whatever you feel like? Somehow I screwed it up. Also, is it ok to overclock with a stock GPU fan?

If your OC values are too high that can strange effects on your game ... try going back to stock settings and scale up slowly. There may be a sweet spot for your GPU. I know with my 8800 GTS it is about 580/866 and beyond that I start having some issues.

So do you have to move both gpu and memory up at same time, or can you move just one at a time?
