Nothing drives me up the wall more than "trick servers" in games...in other words, a public server where people gather to do everything BUT actually play the game (unless it's clearly marked in the server browser or passworded...then fine, just don't run a pub server for non-players then ***** when I join to actually play and frag).

The last 8 months my kid played HALO 2 he never actually wanted to play the damned game...he would spend all night with a bunch of people playing what they called "glitch games" where all they did was go in and do tricks while deliberately exploiting map glitches. I like Halo and all...but **** that game is no UT...try to get a HALO player to undersand that though...

Just watching my kid bump around in an unreal game (and he's a pretty good HALO player) is laughable.

all i can really say, is ignorance is bliss. just ignore them and continue owning them. if they want to skate, then they should create their own server for themselves to play on. this game is about blowing each other to pieces.

Nothing wrong with the HB.. I've grown quite fond of it in VCTF. It's extremely convenient transportation. It's slower than most of the vehicles, but faster than foot. I think the major problem with everyone (Not the HB) is that people try to take it as an escape route, or think it's some how going to protect you from a fight.
It's pretty much a "get into the action" board.. Nothing more. It's not meant for running away from a fight, or for trying to win in a fight. It also penalizes you if you're caught with your pants down trying to show up Tony Hawk.

All in all, I think it's an awesome addition to the game.. If someone tells you to stop shooting at them so they can try stuff on it.. Tell them there is an "Instant Action" option, than continue to knock them off and get the free kill

ib been in a server with losers like that
it was fun, because the stinger + hoverboard losers = crying losers.

i am proud to say i annoyed them that much with playing the game, they left, and vowed never to play this again

I can see a person's appeal to a hoverboard, though. In a CTF match the other day our team were really having our asses handed to us -- the gameplay with it has been thoroughly conceived.

All I'm saying is that I wish they hadn't put skateboards into this game, and now, sure enough, I'm seeing a bunch of lame sk8terbois whining about their lame skate tricks.

Be glad they have the hoverboard. If it wasn't for that, they'd be jacking your raptor or goliath and ditch it in the enemy base.

Today I connected to a server, and these two guys were whining about how they "just wanted to skate," and that we were "ruining their fun" by actually playing the game. Please.

Thats all haha then its not the skateboards fault its the players lol what a complaint !!
