NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT - Do I need a new video card?

Or will this be enough to run the game?

Im already investing in a QuadCore Q6600 processor.. do I need a new video card too?

    WELL!

no. technically you can run the game. Your GPU is a bottleneck though.

I'm planning on getting a q6600 as well, and I'm aiming to get a 8800GTS.

    just fyi.

Oh, and wait a while for prices to drop.

Depends on how you want to run the game. Are you happy with 800x600 @ low / medium settings @ 20-30 fps ? Then your 6600GT will suffice. Do you need more FPS ? Higher graphics settings ? Get a more powerful card.

IMHO the Q6600 is too powerful for 8800GTS

Let's put it this way: If you don't get a new video card, then your CPU upgrade will most likely be a waste as well (as far as gaming is concerned).

I wait until the 15th November.

Let's see how powererfull the X3850 and X3870 will be. (DirectX 10.1 and ShaderModel 4.1)
And Nvidias 8800 GT are good too. (Only DirectX 10.0 and SM 4.0)

            Price ~ 250 $
