8800GTS 640mb or 320mb? Which to choose?

i can only play fluid on 1280 x 800, whereas my native resolution is 1680 x 1050, and only with world/texture detail at 3 - i am get average 30 to 40 fps, but there are fps drops into the 20-region within gameplay.
AMD AM2 5600+
8800 GTS 320mb
2GB DDR2 800
WinXP 32bit

But if you look at this review, they get the same FPS... so for money I'd go with the 320mb.

yabbering yeti repliedyah, the new 8 series cards are bad news for me - it just means that the next refresh with the 9xxx cards is all the more far away.
Not that im going to get 1, I always skip a generation (or try to). Rather than buy a midrange every generation I get a high end every 2 - that way I get 1 year of high end gaming and the next at mid range - works better than constant mid range gaming I feel.

Grim repliedI have a crappy 8600GT 512mb today.
I thought about 8800GTS but I think I am gonna wait for 8800GT which by rumour is gonna be cheaper and faster than 8800GTS.
There will be a release of a new 8800GTS that is gonna be better than the coming 8800GT.
