I have an x800xt and it seems to play the game decently. I think I get about 35-40 FPS at 1024 x 786 with medium and low-medium details on a single core socket 939 Opteron that's at 2.64 Ghz.
Note that one of the big issues with this game is its CPU dependence. Apparently, based on a recent Anandtech benchmark test, the Level 2 cache on the CPU is also important. -
X800 should be able to run it just not on high and with the 8600gts its a dx 10 card and if your comparing cards the 8600gts is by far the better choice and about 60fps anything above 40 is pretty good.
From the tests ive ran on the 8800s and 8600s the average fps for a 8600 gts
Should be right around 40-60 fps so yea 60 fps is good if your getting it
For a x800 i havnt tested one but i can imagin on med settings you would be getting a avg frame rate of 25fpsComment
