    "First Person Shooter"

Hell, i love to play "First Person Shooter" and that is
my problem...in UT3-VCTF (great Gametype, by the way)
you most time play "Third Person".
That issue is perhabs not a popular one, but its the wrong
feeling. I hacked this stuff in 2004 ONS for me, playing
against bots, and that was just fine (exept the poor cockpit-textures) but it works for me.
I try the same for Vehicles and Hoverboard, but i dont
get it to work, in the bindings.
Don“t get me wrong, those Animations for the Hoverboard
looks great... but i like to play "First Person"

Does Anybody know how to solve this?
Hope it is possible in the release version.

Well, UT2004 used to have an option so you could be in first-person view in vehicles as well. I haven't checked if UT3 has that option too but I don't find it annoying to play in third-person view for vehicles.

This demo is a beta, I'm sure there is a lot of stuff and options and features we haven't seen yet...

They took out the first person view because controlling vehicles in 3rd person is more fun, years and years of console gaming has proven this durrr.

        Sarcasm aside,

I only vaguely remember an interview with someone from Epic (Cliffy maybe) saying first person view for vehicles wasn’t needed in UT3 because they’re not trying to be a realisim shooter, something like that anyway.

what about the people that prefer 1st-person views in vehicles? The UT2004 onslaught community proved that it was more efficient to use raptors in first person view.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but how would one go about proving something like that?

              I always played third-person.
Mainly because stuff like the dirty hellbender windows were a real pain to see out of and your field of view is usually less.
I did enjoy bombing around large terrain maps in the scorpion in first-person though.
