And the outside force comes from the rockets. The particles involved in the rocket explosion also tend to resist changes in their state of motion, so they will cause velocity changes in everything they hit, including the vehicle.

Some vehicles can still get pushed by weapon fire. I have tested it.

Now you’re being stupid, this is not real. It's a computer game called unreal Tournament 3 you ***, half you stuff in the game is unrealistic so you take your science and shove it.

Besides, what are rocket launchers generally used for today? Oh yes, taking out vehicles, usually tanks in fact, yet you think a small armoured vehicle will be completely unaffected by an impact from a rocket launcher?

Not convinced of that, seemed harder to take them down so far but we'll see.

Anyone who doenst understand needs to wiki the laws of inertia.

Rockets are not mass drivers. They cause explosions. Vehicle bounce from weapons was a bit excessive in UT2004, and I haven't been able to use Rockets or Flak frequently enough on vehicles in UT3 to comment on it. The Raptor did become nearly certain death to footsoldiers without the Shock Rifle being able to knock it off target at all.

You are in a very small minority who feels that this change is a bad thing.
Well the best thing about that is a it gave the player without a vehicle a chance against vehicles other then the tank, as it is they have no chance unless the vehicle is very low on health but even then the vehicle exploding will probably kill the player.

Vehicles are great but there needs to be a balance and the impact physics was that balance as far as i'm concerned.

Don't understand how, tried three rockets vs a scorp, bender, raptor, manta and other then damage they were not affected at all.

Weapon impact physics vs vehicles = Gone?

Anyone else notice that three rockets against a scorpion or bender or any other vehicle has no effect at all other then damage. This completely ruins vehicles for me, in UT2004 even a single rocket will affect a scorpion or bender a little, three of them will send the scorpion flying through the air, but in UT3, nothing.

This is very disappointing and I hope doesn’t represent the final game.
