NET Framework 3 -> MORE FPS?

Today we installed the demo but could not believe that a 8800 GTS 640 MB or a HD 2900 XT is so bad. ( down till 12 fps some times)

    Configuration:

    Q6600 2 GB RAM 800 Mhz
    resolution: 1024
    advanced: full + vsync off

After installing NET Framework 3 ( it was luck) over version 2 it worked for us at constant 60-62 fps.

Is it possible that this update influenced the fps?

    EDIT:

ATI Radeon 1950 XTX got 100 fps! no joke!

That seems very strange because I don't think Epic uses .Net for anything. I use Vista and .Net 3 is turned on by default and my speed isn't that great.

I think Epic uses .Net, since I got a new computer about 2 months ago and I didn't have .Net Framework 2.0. It started to install .Net Framework 2.0 when I tried to install UT3 Demo.

Looks like some testing is needed.

When I've been reading about XP x64-problems etc I've seen mentions about .Net and what it's used for. I think it was only for the install and ISCopyFiles.exe (some "unimportant" program). .Net 3.0 is some stuff ontop of .Net 2.0 CLR.
I don't really see this beeing solved by installing .Net 3.0

I have Vista and running 3.0 of course and have 60 FPS with 8800 GTS (I know it's locked at 60 and can be changed in .ini but I'm satisfied).

                My spec:
                Athlon 2.2GHz 3500
                2gb DDR1 400MHz ram
                ATI 1950PRO (Sapphire)
                DFI Lanparty (Motherboard)

I can get 25-40 FPS in-game, and I tried the .Net framework 3.0 downloaded HERE.

If anything it actually made my framerate ever so slightly worse.

yes i remember durring install it had to install framework 2.0 first before it did anything else which took a bit of time actually.
