this game is about being there in the proper place at the proper time
well , im in the midle setting in difficulty and i was in last row in every DM now with some minutes of game i become second and with some more practice i can rise the dificulty
I'm not new.. Played 2004 pretty much but i still suck in UT#.. Haven't played serious multiplayer yet so I don't know how I compare to the rest of the players out there but I do lose to masterfull bots(raped) in DM. in ut2k4 I could easily play and beat a few godlikes...
Hello, UT3 is awesome and runs smooth as silk on my rig (C2D@2.14Ghz, 3GB ram, 640MB 8800GTS, XP 32bit), but I suck donkey balls at it. How long does it take to get good at this game? Is it worth the time, and does everybody always die every 25 seconds?
You will recognize me in-game, as I will be that splatter of blood on the wall!! See ya out there!!
I'm planing on buying the Video card can you trow a pic and post it plz, i want to see if the video card is worth is
lol tamaria.... dont drink and UT!! I suck *** at it too, basicly just gonna take dedication, like 48hrs non stop playing dedication.... and then follow that by weeks and weeks of non stop play.... once you get used to the controls, how everything fires, the general tactics, you'll be fine!
Yes. Everybody sucks really hard at UT/UT2004 for a while. Once you stop thinking of it as 'dying' and 'game over', it gets fun. Like a game of tic-tac-toe, you can't REALLY lose at UT. You just draw a new board and play again until you and your friends are too drunk to play anymore.
Here's a tip: When you're new, play against novice bots.
Here's another tip: I only play against people I know (usually at LAN parties).
And a third: You're worse at UT when you're drunk, but it is more fun.
I think it's easy to learn UT in general. UT3 should be even easier. There are always novice bots to train against. And I propose using the flak canon or the rocket launcher as your weapons of choice. Always keep moving (and jumping).
