well what makes ictf different from normal ctf is the instagib mutator so..... it will come with the full game most likely but i don't know if the real ut3 demo will bring it

I hope that the iCTF gametype fully replaces the insta mutator this time around. I'm lazy and don't like to have a zillion filters to mess with.

You can use the trans if you use the "allweapons" cheat in single player. Didn't know if you were aware of that or not.

Is instagib still a mutator? Or did they make it a gametype this time around?

As for the two DM maps with vehicles (well, one vehicle and one turret), if you don't like those maps, don't play them.
