I'm an old guy. Played the original Unreal the first year it was out at the age of 35, then moved onto UT99 (glad to see the UT3 demo feels more like UT99).

But, I started my son on UT99 for the first time at age 4 1/2. He learned by playing on the easiest bot mod with health regeneration turned on.

He's almost 8 now. UT99 & and then UT2k4 have been his favorite video games out of all vid games he has played ever since. He can't wait for UT3.

The only bad thing about all this--he has my old AGP 6600LE card in his machine. I've gotta update his vid card and mine. LOL

Nice, I thouhgt I was the old fart. I loaded Unreal shortly after release and I was only 33 at the time.

52 years, 6 months, 7 days when I fired up Unreal (not UT) for the first time - Christmas, 1998. UT, on the day it was released in October, 1999. UT2003, UT2, and UT2004, on their release dates as well.

I was either 9 or 10 when UT came out, and I got its demo. Heh, it was fun - I'd frag all day! I got UT2003 a year after its release (system issues ) and UT2004 the day it came out.

And I thought I was too young.

I was 20 or 21 when I first was introduced to UT99, I loved that game so much.

Anyway what about this demo? If I remember correctly, the ut2k4 demo was released right around noon time, might be the same for this? Hopefully.
