I was 17. I didn't play Unreal but I did play UT. UT was the game that took me from a console gamer to being a PC gamer.

Haha you know, last Christmas time I went into Gamestop and was looking through the games. I asked the clerk about the Zelda game (Twilight Princess). She starts going on about the whole series and is like "yeah and we have this one with the original Zelda!" I was like "oh yeah, I remember when that came out ".

I think I was 29 when I was first introduced to the unreal franchise.

9 years old.... never played online tho... laned against my dad and whoever else wanted to come over and play me. lol. always gonna be my favorite game just because i associate it with being free no cares and chilling with my cousin who is now a grown man and doesn't have as much time anymore lol.

i do. I was like "WHOOOAH" when that game started to support 'sound blaster' and you could hear the actual door slide open.

    Man, wolf3d was great.

    Yes, me.

Does that make me old ?

I was 23 when I got UT, in december 1999. Am 31 now. **** I feel old, when I look at all these kiddies that were still in single digits when UT came out.

I didn't really play video games like UT until I was about 13. So, the first time I played UT was 5 years ago.
