I was 23 when I got UT, in december 1999. Am 31 now. **** I feel old, when I look at all these kiddies that were still in single digits when UT came out.

i do. I was like "WHOOOAH" when that game started to support 'sound blaster' and you could hear the actual door slide open.

19 for me UT99 it was a wonderful year. Also learned how to map before I got into the game

started playing Doom on a 286 with a 2400 modem those were the days... hehe then it was amazin, I think that was the fore runner to most FPS although the first Doom was co-op it showed what was possible

lol God even I remember those days. But it was 8 player Marathon(for those who didn't know: halo would not exist without marathon) in the school lab all running Macs that really sealed it for me
