PS3 Mods--Not as comprehensive as previously thought?

Hi Guys

Check this link out. I'm confused.

So this means UT3 on PS3 can play custom maps which is awesome.

But UT3 won't support user created mods like Rocket Areana, or Instagib because they are actual game add ons and not maps?

Just a little confused about this guys conversation with the UT3 developer from the Game Trailers videos.

Uhm... "users will not even be able to make their own textures"... that makes no sense -- how will they make maps.

Yeah it may just be a bunch of bs but the guy did have a photo of his ID card that he used to enter the game convention.

I don't know but I'm inclined to agree with you at the moment but thought to post here to see what others understand about mod implementation on the PS3.
