Game idea 2 for UT3

THis is a lot simpler than my other threadYou get some of your clan members in a party with the leader.(at least five or around there) Then you click a Clan Match finde button. You select the number of clan members in your party. You go to a waiting room until another clan matches your # of players. And some sort of leader board for clans where if you win you go up, if you lose you go down.

Thats what IRC and ladders are for, their would be alot less waiting.

Why not , if it like warcraft 3 battle.net system. And who uses IRC may use it anyway.

A modder can do anything Epic can with their game considering they are given the same exact tools used to make the game.

That might be a neat idea, but it seems like only the best clans would want to play. You'd end up with a bunch of lame matches where elite teams blow away lesser teams and they wouldn't last for more than a couple minutes.

"Those guys just capped 5 flags on us in five minutes! Screw this! Let's leave the server in protest."

In contrast, with organized leagues and ladders and with IRC (spontaneously) arranged pick-up game (PUG) matches, the teams are often balanced (PUGs) or at least somewhat competitive (leagues and ladders).
