Pre Order Prices?

Please note: I'm not advertising, or trying to say to purchase from here, but merely trying to save myself / others a few quid

Just checked Amazon, it's going for about £23, or Play for £25 (PC Version) - much cheaper than I was expecting. I don't have links, but they're two well known sites & it's easy to find

Anyone know of any bargains to watch out for, or with any pre-order goodies / special offers?

As a mac lover, may I suggest you buy the pc version and use bootcamp? Better fps that way as well...

Pre-ordered mine from Play in January 06, like MysTikal says, it was 17.99 back then.
Didn't expect it go up in price.

Pre-ordering will almost guarantee you will get you copy later than those storming the (virtual and real-life) stores to buy a copy directly.
At least that was my experience with UT200x so far. I always bought it without preordering and that way got it earlier than several people who pre-ordered the game in some online shop.

Most games I've pre-ordered have arrived on the day of release, rare occasions the day before.

Game is the only shop I have near me, and they are a rip off, nothing under £25 (except old games), I expect UT3 will be £30, nearly double the price to *possibly* get it 1-2 days earlier? no thanks

Same. I pre-ordered the SE for UT2004 and it came in over a week late.
I think I'll just buy it in a shop this time.

I had just one experience, with 2k4... it arrived 10 days before the regular shop.

UT3 seems much more desired that I think I will pass through the same problem as some described above.

also, i find it for $58 US killers.....

thats not bad since i spent over $4000 on my new SLI 8800 GTX, nVid 680i, 4gb ddr dual channel, QWUXGA 30" 2560x1600, ageia physix, QUAD core OC'd to death, vista64 (for the full 64 bit & DX10 experience) and last but not least....the brand spanky new SSEN Liquid Cooling system. (mostly koolance coolers/pump/nozzles, and thermalTake rads & resevoirs with additional 12" UV lights and all UV reactive tubing and sleeving)
