Beta-testing before the demo comes out?

im sure they will use the ut3-demo as a kind of beta-testing for the community, as it will be released before the whole game comes out...

EPic always does IN HOUSE testing. minimizes leaks.

the game is already in beta-testing : EPIC said they will do 6 months of testing before releasing the game.

Yea I hear you… but it would be nice and like I said from a business stand point I think there is more upside than downside and usually in any business choice that’s all you can shoot for. Though with that said I tend agree it’s not going to happen.

I know Epic does a lot of in-house testing but it would be nice and a good idea IMO to have something along the lines of a beta-testing prior to the demo coming out in October/November. I like most fans really want UT3 to be a big hit both for my own personal reasons but for Epic too. I think it would be nice if Epic gave some of us hardcore fans that have been around since UT99 a chance to have some input on the final product. It would allow for a few more months of testing, it would give back to the community, and ultimately produce a better product. The more feedback you can get from a bigger audience the better the product is going to be. That’s been shown time after time. I personally think there is more upside than down side to doing it. Just a thought…
