I'll wear my trusty +6 Ring of Patience and hope I roll a Critical Hit to slay Beast of Waiting with my silver bastage Sword of Time Killing, while wandering in the land of Whenitsdone!

I'm not so much worried about the date as more in anticipation of it.
By dicussing ideas and sharing experiences that are constructive and conducive to the cause (the completion of the making of the game), I think we're doing all that we can, with what we have. Worry not! Epic will get the goods out and tell us when its time to get our FRAG ON! That is the day I can wait for, in the meantime UT99 will do for me just as 2kx will for others...

I agree with this, really. This is horrible in UT2004.
Something would be to make it so that whichever direction you press, you exit. Press A and get out left, press D and get out right.

Who ever tried to exit any vehicle to fly away from danger can relate to this.
Furthermore, ever been in a close environement (walls above, under and aside very close) and you tried to exit your Raptor but couldn't!? Then you die...

But what's really concerning me, is the release date.

Well they did remove the UT2007 name for a reason.

My favoritre worrie is about the Goliath. I sure hope they upgrade it with the Hemi engine! Ever tried to climb a hill more steep than 10degree with it?! Or better yet, got stuck on a gravel wrongly place on the pavement! Haha.. pathetic.

That it's under-rated like Unreal Championship II was.

Cross platform play. A small part of me wants it but i'd prefer not to have it as to not have to worry about alot of custom download just to play on a server since i'm picking it up for 360 instead of PC.

I have the 8800 card and 22" LCD 1680 X 1050 native resolution.

One of my guys posted that with my current resolution I will need to go to a SLI setup with a 2nd card. Can someone confirm this. I would need to upgrade my PSU.

That the maps will have sticking points all over the place where you get stuck on some kind of silly map feature (doors and boards under ramps in Rankin for example).

That the movement will be dumbed down, essentially making the game less challenging and less thought provoking. Players with quick hand/eye coordination and reaction should always be rewarded (yes, the C student always resents the A student ...that's just life ). Complex movement seperates the A student from the C student and provides plently of room to grow into the game. Why stay with a game you master quickly?

Worried that the LG is gone and can't be adequately replaced. My, what a sweet weapon! I honestly don't think you can replace the visual stimuls from the LG with any variant of a sniper.

onli thing that wories me is vista voice recognition - will it be compatible with bot orders? i got vista ultimate, it is the best thing i ever did, but if speech rec dosent work, ill feel really let down from epic - like sum1 dosnt like me...
