Right now all I have is this.
    AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Processor 4800+ (2.5Ghz)
    2GB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM
320GB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE graphics with TurboCache and 128MB dedicated video memory; up to 399MB total available video memory as allocated by Windows Vista; high-definition audio with 8-speaker support

Yeah, I know not much. I usually play on my 360 and have a copy reserved on that platform, but am waiting for the arrival of my 5th 360. So have been thinking of moving over to the PC. Figure I can upgrade my video card to a DX10 card, upgrade my PSU and maybe get some better ram then what came with my system.

Any suggestions on a good PSU and ram. Thanks.

btw i'm on a athlon 2400+/nvidia 5200/2gb plain ram lol i only play UT99 atm
wait and spend the 800, you'll definitely get a system with noticeably better performance in UT3.

    Doesn't Vista automatically install DX10?

i never got SLI working on my system, so i sold my cards for a single 8800GTS 640MB. i'm also probably going to move to water cooling so i can squeeze maybe 2.9-3.0GHz out of this dual core Opteron. also have 2GB DDR500 ram.

    lets hope that's enough.

    Core 2 Duo 6400 @ 2.6 (Tuniq Tower 120, it's friggin huge)
    MSI P965 Platinum
    2GB G.Skill 4-4-4-10, DDR800 (D9s , lucky)
    eVGA 8800GTX @ 600/2000
    RAID 0

Hopefully, I won't have to upgrade again before UT3 comes out. If I can find the money and can't get a "holy ****" in the settings when the game comes out I will probably sell the GTX and upgrade, but I hope that it'll have enough steam.

I'll wait untill it's out.. check the news at that time and maybe decide to wait for the special edition version...

It will have at least 4 Cores, 2 Gb of memory and a 8800-series GPU.. antec will be a preffered supplier for the case.. the rest is up to time.

4 Cores because I believe there will be plenty of use for them in the near future..

    Asus Physx card
    2 x 150 GB Western Digital Raptor 10.000 RPM

waiting for the Intel price drop late July before i choose a processor.
But it will be a powerfull one to justify all the ther bits in the rig.

Same goes for the cooling department.

    Spares no expense.
Sounds good so far, but I don't see why people are bothering with the physics cards. I hear they only burden the system causing loss of fps.

You could also buy the Killer network card too, thats not supposed to add but a negligible boost in performance for hundreds of dollars

I have both a G7 and a G5. There are pretty good but I still like my old MX700's better because they have more buttons I like to program my weapons to...

    G5 is awesome :O (I have one)
There are some lemons out there that give you a pain (dpi not working, randomly dies, etc) but I haven't had a single problem with mine ^.^
