    Something like
    - Intel E6420 @ 3.6Ghz, E6750, some quad core if they get cheaper or the new AMD
    - 2-4GB DDR 800+
    - 8800GTS 320MB
    - Nec 20WGX2

Subject to change depending on new hardware releases and the game requirements.

that'll be so weird if nVidia releases a 9700 and 9800 model. i'll keep confusing it with the old ATI cards.

    COMPUTER ONE:

AMD Athlon 4000+ San Diego single core socket 939
    2GB OCZ Platinum RAM
    HIS X1650 XT

    COMPUTER TWO:
AMD Athlon 3700+ Clawhammer single core socket 754
    1GB Kingston HyperX
    Geforce 6600 (non-GT)

I don't care if I can't play max when UT3 comes out. I just want to be able to play the demo to see what the game is like. Then I could upgrade.

    Asus Physx card
    2 x 150 GB Western Digital Raptor 10.000 RPM

waiting for the Intel price drop late July before i choose a processor.
But it will be a powerfull one to justify all the ther bits in the rig.

Same goes for the cooling department.

    Spares no expense.

    Windows Vista 64-bit
    Intel Core 2 E6600
    Nvidia 8800GTX
    OCZ 2GB dual channel DDR2 800MHz RAM
    Gigabyte DS3 (965P chipset) motherboard (I love my 3 PCI slots )
320GB of disk space (2 160GB set in RAID 0 (stripe))
    Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
    Tagan 580W power supply

    By UT3 I will:
Probably add another 2GB of RAM
Get a PhysX card (regardless that I won't be buying many other games that support it )
Possibly do a bit a of overclocking on my processor

Just ordered a Core 2 Duo e6700 the other day. I'm hoping to get hold of an ASRock 4CoreDX90-VSTA to put it in, just to be weird. They aren't generally available in the US but we'll see. I'll try that with my current memory, 2gb of Corsair DDR 400 in dual channel, and my existing video card, an ATI x1900. If that performs half ok I might keep it awhile. I'm sure I will upgrade to something with DDR2 memory either way, sooner or later.

    AMD 3700+ single core
1gb corsair xms ram (will upgrade to 2 or 3gb)
    8800GTS 320mb

I was quite lucky, my x850xt graphics card broke under warranty - got a full refund of £170! 8800GTS super clocked was only £205 - awesome upgrade.
Processor seems to be fine, and found it overclocks easy from 2.2ghz to 2.7ghz for an extra boost when I need it.
