I only played bombing run, played in lots of clans. The matches where great, lots of skills, tricks, etc... I was realy sad when it died... I only played it with instagib and a translocator.. It was the fastest game-mode of all :-D

In BR is another game type i love cus you need skills, i love in ut2k3 how people would shoot at the dam ball and move it to where they wanted it, really good aiming

Hey folks, I have to add my two cents as well. Been playing UT for some time now and I would have to agree with most that BR has kept UT2K4 alive the past year. The game type screams TEAM PLAY just as well as any other team play game type. There are a large number of loyal BR fans that contribute so much to the UT community I just hate to see BR not supported.... Please reconsider adding BR to the line up. If at all possible at least include it in a patch at a later date...

Yes a mod then a patch would be great. Team play if very important in BR. The passing, the give-n-gos, the team boosting, the communitties, the play callings and strategy is what makes the game great. If you haven't tried iBR under NBL settings, u have missed a great game. Snilly is 100% right, alot of us wouldn't be playing UT2004 without BR.

I used to play iBR with UT2003 and found it a very enjoyable fast pased game, unfortunately i found the trans drain after ball really annoying and people just shot ya, madeball running really slow :P

ohh cool , my favorite was the instagib BR , it also had custom maps that were realy small , it was alot of fun!

Catzenjaeger and all the others at www.bombingrun.org great to hear that BR will continue with your dedication....there are many clans; more than most people realize who are built around and live by BR. I hope those clans and players who know how a solid BR game-type should play will can be included in the process.

iBR is most likely the only reason I will come back to UT. It makes no sense to take away one of the most popular playstyles of the game. Sounds to me like they dont care about having the players that have been loyal to the game coming back. Guess they want it to be "Just another first person shooter".

i agree, there are a number of clans that have been involved in the NBL (national bombingrun league) for over a year now, with 2 seasons behind them, EX3, UXC, AW, IYF, TAO, HOG, ***, ANI clans in the last season alone. and other clans in the previous season as well. Almost all of these clans were primarily zark, TDM, ctf clans that became involved in bombingrun in 2k4. I feel epic blew it by not keeping it for ut3
