    Benchmarking Graphics

    Wanted to start a thread where people could clarify there fps on particular games and enquire asto wether it would run UT3 and at what fps.

    Example:Rainbow six vegas runs at a 30 fps at 1024X960 pixels and full detail. So what would UT3 run like And if not good What do I do?? Example::::: If you want to play UT3 at full detail then put your res to 800X600 and Turn the game to window mode.

    PS: This GPU of mine is Temporary and will be changed to X1950 pro agp.
    Example how good is X1950 for UT3(Seriously asking how good is it)?

    We don't know anything about the system requirements for UT3... so... umm... how is this going to help?

      Ummm an asumption maybe. How it's gonna help is seeing other games of closest graphics type and and similar engine.

        I run rainbowsix vegas at about 40 to possibly 60 on highest graphics at 1280x768 resolution on highest graphics.

        Current rig:
        x1950xt
        4200x2
        2gigsRam

        New rig:
        ATI's dx10 card(whenever that comes out)
        AMD's quad cores(whenever thoughs come out)
        3 to 4 gigs of ram

        Anyway Mike Capps or whatever said if you want a good example on what kind of machine you need to run UT3 at some what nice graphics and be playable you might as well match your specs to similar speeds the x360 is.

            Your current rig I am not sure but might play the game at same res at medium high detail of about 30. What are the specs of the XBOX 360 GPU??

                Isnt there enough of these threads neway? Speculation won't help much, as far as I know rainbow six is a tactical game and therefore it's meant to be played slow vs ut3 which is going to be pretty fast, that alone tells you ut3 will be more heavy on the cpu/gpu/etc...

                  I generally hate generalizations. Above is an example why.
                  You cannot simply say: Faster game = faster processor needed.

                      Ram in the xbox is different then ram in a computer, 512 ram on the xbox doesnt = 512 ram on the pc.

                        Kronos 512 mb is ther Graphic memory of xbox 360. The above is only the Specs of the graphic card. You could see your GPU specs at www.gpureview.com and compare it with this.

                          Actually you should try to have alot more ram than the 360, cause levels for the 360 or ps3 have to be cut down to fit in memory. It was in an interview or something.

                          Also, you should try and have over the console specs by a bit, because developers can optimise for consoles better than pc (because all consoles - within a particular brand - are the same).
