UT3 Pre-Order and Release Date Attained

I preordered Duke Nukem Forever a long time ago.
I still haven't gotten the game.
Stores are the last to know if a game is released or not.

HAHAHAHAHA. That game was announced a decade ago. I am curious if anyone out there beside myself considered whether or not the title is in any way in reference to the development time...

I pre-ordered the game a long time ago at GameSpot. They even called me up the day after the name change to let me know it was UT3.

I pre-orderd QW before I pre-ordered my PS3.. I am more excited about UE3 as QW will be too lame to have bots.

All I can say is give them a call and see what they say

I'm assuming this is for the US. Therefore, it'll cost me too much to hear the following conversation:

spokesman: hello, this is EB games, how may I help you?
me: yes, hello. I'm calling for that game UT2007...
spokesman: hold on a sec...ah, yes. That game can be pre-ordered now. Would you like to do so now?
me: well, I'd like some information first.
spokesman: certainly
me: why do you call it UT2007? Didn't you know that Epic renamed it about 3 weeks ago?
spokesman: ...eerm...well, I must admit this is new to me. But they had it marketed as UT2007 for so long that the name is kinda stuck.
me: I see...and what about the fact that they never gave any info regarding the release date
spokesman: well...hold on, I'll have another call.

I am just telling you what happened to me yesterday when I went to EB games. All I can say is give them a call and see what they say. Maybe I got taken for $5.

Kind of hard to get SKUs when the game isn't even in the alpha phase yet.

Believe it out not, I pre-order UT3 for Xbox 360 yesterday from EB Games. They where taking pre-orders for all platforms. The have 9-4-2007 as the release date. We will see if that is true, but they at least have the sku's and are accepting pre-orders.
