    Stealing Vehicles

As the title suggests will warfare allow players to still steal the other teams vehicles in the manner you can now ? This could make for some interesting situations like a stolen Dark walker supporting the Levi etc.

Probably, but good luck stealing one, at least for the first several months

I'm especially interested in how hijacking will work out in combination with the announced emp device that throws all players out of their vehicle ond locks it for a few secs. On the one hand, such a device would make for an interesting superweapon, on the other hand it might fit better as a very useful tool to defend yourself against vehicles, especially because the normal weapons like the shock rifle aren't the vehicle killers they used to be anymore and the AVRiL alone just doesn't seem to cut it (though I obviously don't know how much they changed it in comparison to 2k4).
But in order to not becoming too overpowered, it has to be very short-ranged, so you can't spam with it in an offensive manner. That would mean it has to become some sort of grenade, but BF2142 already has EMP grenades and I bet Epic doesn't want to be blamed for "borrowing" their ideas. That doesn't leave many possibilies, so I'm curious what they'll come up with in the end.

Well really you would expect EMP to lock the players in their vehicles if the doors are powered hehe

True, but usually not that obviously.

It's less obvious than the "borrowing" of the following:

-the darkwalker concept looks VERY much like the aliens in Spielberg's 'War of the world' movie
-the hoverboard allows you to perform tricks in the air...Tony Hawk anyone?
-sniper rifles and rocket launchers are so common in first person shooters it's pretty much impossible to say who borrowed from whom.

Not to mention the glaring similarity between Vipers and the speeder bikes from Return of the Jedi...
