The "mega surprise which is top secret" is that Epic announce that they are renaming the project to Unreal Tournament 2008.

with all this stuff going around about a press event, it would be atleast nice if EPIC could say " we are holding the press event and it will be on (date)"

I wouldnt even need them to tell me "yes we will release screenshots too" and all that other ****, just a verification that the press event is taking place this month would be cool. what harm could that cause?

The date is the 25 as it says on Unreal.de's website. I have known about the even for over a month. I just never posted anything because I thought it was all supposed to be hush hush, and I'm going to continue that course until I hear otherwise. It's just since everyone else is talking I figure I can as well right?
