Linux on the PS3 or the PC?

I was talking about UED for linux (ubuntu) on my PC. I am also working on setting up MythFrontend running on linux on my PS3 though.

-also UED as it is now would not run on the PS3. There is no powerPC nvidia driver available for linux at the moment.

--MythFrontend is the frontend client to Mythtv, a tivo like application for linux.

i reckon that the Pc version will be better because some of the mods for Ut2007 may be have too high a minmum spec so that the PS3 will not run them plus you can get the Pc version for <£20. with the editor. for me there is no substitute for the unreal ed.

Honestly, no offense to anyone who thinks that Gears should come out for PS3 or anything, but that is the most improbable notion ever concieved. Gears was developed for the 360 only, and only the 360. Not even the original X-Box is priviledged enough to recieve a version of Gears... and Microsoft making a game for Sony... has that ever actually happened?
