    DM-Deck17 - should I transform DM-Deck?

Simple question, should I transform DM-Deck into a brighter, redder area with the same kind of immulsion that's here:

I really dont think a Deck16 with lava instead of slime would be worth downloading

why not a deck only mutator that changes the slime materials and volumes to lava ones. I dont know if this possible but it might work if it is.

I always seen making versions of original maps a bit pointless, unless orginal map was really screwed, and deck-17 is good one map.

Better go for remake of some old ut99 map, there are still great maps that are not ported over. Do it in 2 stages, first release low poly exact port for all those nostalgia folks, then use that CSG for making your own version of map. And if you use same weapon and navigation points placement you get nice feedback on bot ai.

I got many complains about ctf-november not being exact port, but at same time that it is bare map, not meshed up to ut3 levels. With exact CSG port i could tell those low poly lovers to get that while meshed up version would please other half.

I agree! I loved UT99 and I for one would like to see some Assault maps made into UT3 maps, preferably for VCTF. I know they would have to be redesigned but it might be cool.

Exactly. Or you might take care of even older, Unreal 1 maps. Like these: DM-Twilight, DmEclipse...

Linkage to packs including both maps is below:

http://www.filefront.com/6751729/Unr...on-Bonus-Pack/ - Fusion pack containing Twilight

http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=191498 - Division pack containing Eclipse

I'd strongly suggest thinking this through...
