Melee weapons!

The main reason for not playing UT3 is because there are no melee weapons such as swords, hammers and whatnots, there where a couple of mutators that enabled melee fights in UT2K4 so I thought it would be really neat to smack someones head in with a sledgehammer, or any other melee weapons for that matter. Chainsaws anyone? =3

crucible weapons by runestorm has a melee hammer that can build up combos and stuff. its quite nicely done.

is not a hammer but is a knife like Dominique's knife on his chest and a sick Katane sword

The base sword from the Coda mod can be used with weapon replacement, but its custom third person camera experiences bugs in regular UT3 maps. If combined with any mutators/features which have effect over the player camera view (hoverboard for example), further problems arise.
The Hacker is great melee weapon for normal game-types.
The Haunted mod features melee attacks also.
